New Honda Prologue For Sale & Lease in the Dallas Fort Worth Area
What's New for 2024?
As a brand-new model, the Prologue is expected to come with updated tech. But since no official word has come down from Honda, all info is speculation. We'll learn more in the coming months.
Performance
At current, the powertrain and range of the new Prologue have yet to be released.
Pricing & Trims
Again, Honda still needs to release information about the Prologue's pricing or trim levels. But if we go off of other SUVs in its lineup, Dallas and Fort Worth driver may find the model to start at about $45,000 and go up from there. As for its trims, Honda's traditional models range from the LX, EX, EX-L, and Touring, and we expect these to be part of the Prologue lineup. But we won't know for certain until the official release.
Interior
Having looked over the images Honda has released, there is a lot we can infer about the model's cabin. It appears Honda has infused the cabin with a design reminiscent of others in its lineup, offering a simplified dashboard design. This is a shame as with its collab with General Motors - we'd hope to see flourishes offered in models like the Blazer EV, such as round vents, brightly colored surfaces, or tilted infotainment display. Instead, Lewisville customers will find the interior layout for the Prologue mirrors that of the Honda Civic sedan and Passport SUV and is offered in muted tones.
Though the interior isn't what we hoped for, its size definitely is. According to Honda, the Prologue offers a wheelbase eight inches longer and five inches wider than the CR-V's. Because of this, we expect the cabin and cargo areas to be more spacious.
Technology
From what we've seen, the cabin of the Prologue will be filled with plenty of great tech that Arlington and Irving, TX, residents will enjoy. In the middle of the dash, an 11.3-inch infotainment touchscreen will sit tall and run a version of Honda's latest software interface. Though it's possible the display will be a reskinned version of GM's Google-based system. Either way, we expect the infotainment system to come with features such as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, in-dash navigation, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a wireless smartphone charging pad.
In the released photos, an 11.0-inch digital gauge is shown and will likely be standard, as will a Bose stereo system with tweeter speakers. Though if other Honda SUVs are anything to go by, we expect a non-branded stereo with fewer speakers to be offered in the base model.
Safety
No information has been provided on the safety features.Warranty/Maintenance Coverage
Just like other Honda models, the Prologue will come with the same warranty offered on other new Honda vehicles. Honda's standard coverage package also includes two years of complimentary scheduled maintenance. The coverage offered includes:
- Limited Warranty - 3 years or 36,000 miles
- Powertrain Warranty - 5 years or 60,000 miles
- Complimentary scheduled maintenance - 2 years or 24,000 miles
